Radio Industry Training Programme Experienced difficulties with mental and emotional health. Currently not in education/training or employment. At higher risk of homelessness. The radio industry skills project is open to applicants 18 – 30 years old. Meeting at least one of the following criteria: In addition to the above applicants must be able to commit to the 10 week programme and be able to commute to Chesterfield one day per week (Tuesdays). Bus fare will be reimbursed on presentation of a valid ticket. The training will be delivered from a live working studio, learners will work through units including: Creating a show Advertising presenter skills Reporting skills Creating a Jingle/advert Producer skills Understanding your audience Creating a news piece
